1 The opening of the Faculty of Medicine of Tunis to civil society organizations led to signing a partnership agreement with NEBRAS Institute and the Faculty of Medicine of Tunis:
The partnership agreement between NEBRAS Institute and the Faculty of Medicine of Tunis is the result of many efforts and of a collaboration aiming to further strengthen the academic work of NEBRAS in training health professionals not only in psycho-trauma in general, but also in the field of human rights and care of victims of torture in particular.
This cooperation is the result of a long work and several activities carried out by NEBRAS Institute with the Faculty of Medicine of Tunis, in particular by setting up a Master Degree in Victimology and Criminology, in addition to the distinguished relationships between the two institutions. It should be in fact noted that most of the founders of NEBRAS Institute are mainly professors at the Faculty of Medicine of Tunis.
This cooperation demonstrates the opening of the Faculty of Medicine of Tunis to civil society organisations and its social responsibility strategy, of which the cooperation with NEBRAS Institute is the best proof. This partnership between NEBRAS Institute and the Faculty of Medicine of Tunis will cover all aspects of training, scientific research as well as building the capacities of doctors and all those involved in mental health and psycho-trauma rehabilitation.
